super amazing service every time Sexton Lawn and Landscape come out to service my lawn, absolutely zero weeds and my grass looks amazing even during a southern Alabama drought
Sexton just did a complete overhaul on our backyard & we couldn't be more pleased. Pam was professional, extremely helpful & patient with us from the beginning. She did an excellent job designing our yard & advising us on the best thing to do. Once the project started Stephen, our project manager was great to work with. He was very communicative in explaining things to us along the way & making sure everything was done properly & as we wanted it. He & his helper Kyle worked especially hard for us to get the job done right, as did Brandon in helping with the sod.
Sexton Lawn and Landscaping recently completed a renovation project for our front yard. From start to finish, the Sexton team was exceptional to work with and helped make the process run smoothly. This started with Pam Pace, the senior residential landscape designer, who did an initial interview with us to understand the look we were going for and learn more about our preferences prior to designing the yard. This interview included doing a full walk of the yard and providing real time feedback based on her wealth of knowledge in what she felt would look good with our home. Once we received the design, we were blown away with excitement as Pam had taken into consideration all our recommendations. We could not believe that design could be our new yard.Once the renovations started, I was introduced to the renovation team that included Darius Thomas (Project Foreman), Travis (Polling Foreman), Zack Parker, and Brandon Byrd. Best words to describe this team is amazing, professionalism, hardworking, kind, mindful, and determined. Throughout the project, Darius and his team kept us informed on progress and would re-confirm the specifics of the renovation prior to installation of a particular section. With every project there is a challenge, and we did have one here with an unexpected hurdle we had to work through. Again Darius, Pam, and their team provided their recommendations to resolve the problem and were willing to work with us to do what we felt was best to keep the original design still doable. Once the hurdle was cleared it was smooth sailing to finishing the project.We can’t say thank you enough to the entire Sexton Team for their assistance in getting this job done and always being available to answer any questions. Their customer service was awesome and would recommend them to anyone else looking to redo a yard or any other landscaping job.
Addendum: Sexton’s did the right thing by sending out a crew to replant our bed of jasmine with a fast growing ground cover. It only took 8 weeks to completely fill in and make the eyesore disappear. Thank you.I wish we could say we had the same experience as the rest of these reviews! Unfortunately we can not say the same. We hired them after having decided we loved the professionalism they brought to the table in the beginning. They came and we spoke together about the setvice and in a couple weeks we received a detailed quote of what the service would entail. We agreed in the quote and it’s details. Then service began and each service did not live up to the agreement. We were told it was mainly about the time they slotted themselves to complete each service. In “their” slotted time the service was not completed as specified. Around our third (early spring) they did a weed and feed with a spray application. They sprayed our large jasmine bed and (30ft x 12ft) and killed 30 years of great growth. (Pic below). We complained and they said they would replant some, but of course it would take some time to fill in. Ugh and no! It’s in our front yard at the sidewalk that leads up to our front door for all to see! We’re not happy to wait for that to grow in. It’s ugly now and will be ugly for a while. Meanwhile, the next to last time they came out they mowed our front yard, didnt even go in our backyard to do a thing! So, the last time they came my husband spoke to the lawncare person and he said to “Forget it” and he left. Not sure what all was said because I wasn’t standing there. I know that he asked my husband to talk to him about his concerns and not call management anymore. So, now my husband calls management again and he decides to let them go.Now me, the wife gets back from a month long backpacking trip, nursing my body back to health after my kong walk. I make it outside just the other day and really noticed the jasmine bed that had some yellow patches of dying jasmine when I left has now completely died! I asked my husband to call them today and ask to speak to the manager again about our jasmine or lack there of. He called and now we’re waiting for a call back. We hope they’ll call back and we can come to some satisfaction about our concern.
The team from Sexton just finished adding some beautiful new color to our backyard landscaping. It’s the first we’ve had installed in several years and I know we’re going to enjoy it for months to come. Heather, Clinston, and Q.B. were absolutely great to work with. We so appreciate their hard work and professionalism.
Our entire experience with the Sexton team was top notch. Pam Pace created a great design that fit our budget and ticked all our boxes. Darius Thomas - Project Manager and Andrew Kelly - Manager supervised a smooth installation. Both Darius and Andrew and their crew - Mike, Zach (and Bishop) went above and beyond. Pam and the team did an AMAZING job completely renovating our overgrown landscaping. From the beginning of the design, to working with project foreman Gary and his team Bryant and Ethan, to the hardscape finish with Caesar the stone artist! It was a complete joy to see the transformation. Then the irrigation crew Brock and Anthony set us up for good coverage to keep our beautiful new plants watered. Thank you Sexton!!!
Sexton just finished landscaping our backyard after we installed a pool. We are very pleased - the outcome was even better than we imagined. The Sexton staff is very knowledgeable and were a pleasure to interact with from beginning to end.
I hired Pam, the Drainage Specialist and Amber needing a solution to a drainage issue back in march. Immediately met me at the property and within 24 hours provided a solution to my drainage issue. Corey, Cesar, and Bryant came to the site and worked quickly and made my property look amazing. There have been a couple times I had questions after the install and Pam was always available to take my call. We had some real problems to Overcome before calling Sexton, but their professionalism brought a solution and gave me a much needed peace mind.I would recommend Sexton for any drainage need or landscape design. Reach out to Pam or Amber. They will get it done!
Cannot say enough great things about Sexton. We installed a pool in our back yard and then had Sexton come in to install landscaping to complete the project. Pam worked with us on the design and Caleb, Donnie and Murray were the team that did the work. They could not have been better to work with. They were reliable, they communicated well and took pride in their work. And they finished the job when they said they would!! We are going to re-do our front yard and will definitely be requesting the same team again.
After making a lot of changes in my back yard, I called Sexton to see about getting some sod. I told Tim what I wanted done and he told me what Sexton could do and how they'd do it. Johnathan and his crew came in and did everything right, including making sure the irrigation system was doing its job and taking out a section of cement so I could enlarge the yard. It came out great, as you can see from the pictures. (Tree was removed by another company.) So, last year, I had them take care if the front. This time, it was Pam who told me what they could do for me and it was, again, Johnathan, Alex and crew that did a terrific job on the installation, which included sod, a walkway and re-doing a flowerbed. They made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Sexton also followed-up after the job to make sure there are no problems. Every service and job they've done has been top-notch and it's a pleasure working with the company.
Sexton’s Lawncare is “Awesome”!! They do all my Lawncare and also on the 10th of June we had a tree uprooted by a bad storm at High Rock Lake and they cut it up perfectly and took it off..They also do my lawn care maintenance every week I couldn’t ask for any better.Darren and Tonja thank y’all from the bottom of our hearts!!????????????????
